Three sex problems that are more common than you think.

When it comes to sex, things can get a little embarrassing. A lot of people don’t like to discuss the details of what goes on behind closed doors, and with good reason. But this can mean that, if you’re experiencing a sex or relationship problem, you might feel isolated and alone. It can be easy to think you’re the only person in the world going through it, but we want to re-assure you that you’re not! Here are three of the most common sex problems, and a little bit about how we can help you overcome them.

Erectile dysfunction

While age can increase your changes of experiencing erectile dysfunction, it occurs in men of all ages. In fact, recent studies show that 1 in 4 men seeking help for erectile dysfunction are under the age of 40. It’s a far more common problem than you might think, with an estimated 50% of men experiencing erectile dysfunction at some point in their lives. There are things that can be done to improve the situation, and those effected should never be ashamed to seek help.

Porn addiction

Porn is more easily accessible than ever before. And, as a result, porn addiction is on the rise. Research states that in an average month, 70% of men are said to frequent porn sites. However, normal, healthy habits slip into addiction when they interfere with the ability to live life normally. If someone is struggling with porn addiction, they may find themselves unable to engage sexually without the aid of porn. It’s a problem that isn’t talked about as much as it should be, and it’s becoming increasingly common – particularly among men.

Negative body image

Having a negative body image can impact all areas of your life, including in the bedroom. Thinking of yourself as unattractive can severely impact your desire and ability to be intimate with others. When in a relationship this can often cause strain between partners. Our bodies can change quite drastically over time – whether it’s through weight change, childbirth, or simply caused by getting older. As a result negative body image is something that a lot of people struggle with, and sufferers are never alone.

The good news is all of these common problems can be dealt with. Here at the London Love School our aim is to help everyone find the confidence and skills they need to be happy and healthy in their love life. OCD & Anxiety Inside a Relationship.

Anxiety and OCD are often talked about in the same breath and frequently come hand in hand. Someone suffering from issues with anxiety may well end up developing OCD type behavior as a mechanism with which to cope with this, leading to a spiral of destructive habits that can be harmful not only to them but also to their friends, family and partners.
